Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy covers the MailSwift native iOS application offered by Elidron LLC (Florida, USA) and these dedicated policy pages. MailSwift is a local-first email builder; it does not provide a hosted email service.

What We Store On Your Device

• Email drafts and templates you create
• Reusable components (Saved Components)
• SMTP account details (addresses, display names); passwords are kept only in iOS Keychain
• Asset metadata you add (image/video/font URLs, tags, dimensions)
• App preferences (theme, settings)

What We Do Not Collect

• No analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs in the app
• No cookies or tracking pixels on these MailSwift web pages
• No server-side storage of your content or credentials
• No sale or sharing of personal information

Analytics

We currently do not run in-app analytics. The Apple App Store may provide Elidron with high-level, aggregated metrics such as download counts or crash summaries; these reports do not include information that identifies you.

Data That Leaves Your Device (User-Initiated)

• Emails you send travel directly to your chosen SMTP provider over TLS/SSL
• Remote asset fetches you trigger (e.g., downloading Google Fonts or loading images/videos by URL)
• Optional tracking pixels you add to an email point to destinations you specify; Elidron does not receive those requests
• Optional exports you create; you choose where to save/share them

Security

• SMTP passwords are stored only in iOS Keychain with WhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly accessibility
• Local databases and exports apply iOS file protection; exports can be user-encrypted
• TLS/SSL is required for SMTP and for fetching remote assets
• Clear All Data in Settings wipes local DB, caches, and Keychain entries

Retention & Deletion

All data remains on your device until you delete it. Use Clear All Data in Settings or uninstall the app to remove local data. Exports you generate are under your control.

California Privacy (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share personal information. Because MailSwift does not maintain centralized user records, typical CCPA rights (know/delete/correct) generally do not apply. If you contact us about a privacy request, we will respond and explain what (if anything) we can access or delete, consistent with the law.

Children

MailSwift is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will update the date below and post the revised version here. Continued use after an update means you accept the changes.
